Who we are

Encore is a personal show journal operated by Lee Chi Ho, an individual developer and the controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. This policy applies to Encore on all supported platforms. Available features, sign-in methods and backup services may vary by platform and app version. Your memories and photos

Show details, artists, dates, venues, seat information, notes, ratings, expenses and selected images are stored on your device. Images may contain names, barcodes and other personal details. Encore retains original ticket photos and cropped images alongside processed tickets. Cropping, image enhancement and text recognition run on the device. Camera and photo access are used when you choose to add an image. Where Paste is available, Encore reads the selected clipboard image when you tap it. Recap videos are made on your device from the content you select. Saving to your photo library or sharing sends content to the destination you choose.

Widgets and countdowns

Where supported, Encore makes saved event titles, dates, times, venues, posters and selected photos or ticket images available locally to its widgets and countdown displays, including Live Activities. Depending on your device and settings, this content may appear on your Home Screen, Lock Screen, Dynamic Island or compatible connected devices. People who can see those displays may see event details or personal information visible in images. These features do not upload your memories to Encore servers. Remove widgets through device controls and turn off supported countdown features in Encore Settings to stop those displays. The operating system may briefly retain an earlier display after you change or delete a record.

Sign-in and service providers

Encore uses Google Firebase Authentication or Tencent CloudBase Authentication, depending on the account service available in your app. Available sign-in methods may include email, Apple or Google. Authentication providers process account information, provider identifiers, credentials or tokens, and technical information needed to sign you in, which may include your email address, name, profile information and IP address. The applicable authentication provider handles email sign-in passwords. Apple and Google also process information when you use their sign-in services under their own privacy policies. Signing in does not upload your show collection to these authentication providers. Shared Plus requires the same supported Encore account on each platform; accounts held by different authentication services are separate.

Cloud backup and sharing

Depending on the features available on your platform, optional cloud backup uses your Apple iCloud Drive account or a Google Drive account you authorize separately. iCloud backup periodically saves changed shows and images while the app is running and iCloud is available. Google Drive backup saves an Encore backup file in the selected account's app-data folder; optional automatic backup runs periodically when network and battery conditions permit. Your Google Drive account can differ from your Encore sign-in account. Manual cloud backup and restore, and controls to turn automatic backup off, are available in Settings where supported. These services keep separate backups and do not continuously synchronize your memories across platforms. Apple and Google process backup content under their own cloud-service terms and privacy policies. Encore's billing service does not receive these backup files.

You can also export a backup file and manually import it on another supported platform without an Encore sign-in. Backup files contain your saved records and images; anyone you share a file with may be able to read them. Sharing a recap, image, video or backup sends selected content to the destination you choose, and recipients may retain it. Review personal details before sharing.

Subscriptions and payments

Encore Plus subscriptions and one-time Lifetime purchases use the app store’s billing system. The store processes payment and billing information; Encore does not receive payment-card numbers. For supported Encore accounts, Encore uses Google Firebase services to verify purchases and store purchase records linked to your account. These records include your Encore account identifier, purchase or transaction identifiers or their hashes, product identifiers, purchase status, expiry and verification times, and whether a purchase is a test purchase. Encore uses this information to provide Plus, prevent a purchase from being claimed by multiple accounts, and recognize valid Plus access on other supported platforms. This purchase verification and sharing does not upload your shows, photos, tickets or backup files to Encore’s billing service.

Purposes and legal bases

We process information to provide the features you request, authenticate accounts, verify and share Plus access, answer support requests and protect the service. Where EU/EEA law applies, requested service processing relies on performance of a contract; proportionate security and support processing relies on legitimate interests in operating a safe service; legal requirements rely on legal obligation. Where processing requires consent, we will request it and you may withdraw it. Optional permissions can be changed in your device settings. Declining them may limit the corresponding feature.

Retention and deletion

Local memories remain until you delete them or remove the app's data. Cloud backups can remain after uninstalling. You can delete local memories and supported connected cloud backups through the controls in Settings. Deleting a shared Encore account removes that sign-in across platforms using the same account. The account-deletion screen explains which local and cloud data will also be removed. In versions using iCloud, account deletion also attempts to remove local memories and the current iCloud backup; the app reports a cleanup failure if it cannot finish. In versions using Google Drive, account deletion keeps local memories and Drive backups; delete them separately in Settings.

Account deletion does not cancel a store subscription or remove copies on other devices, originals in your photo library, exported backup files or copies you shared. See the account deletion page for steps or contact our privacy email for help. You can request deletion of support messages at our privacy email. Authentication providers may retain technical logs and backups under their own retention practices. We retain support correspondence only as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable legal obligations. Purchase verification records are described separately below.

Purchase records

Purchase verification records may remain after you delete your Encore account. Contact encoreapplicationsupport@gmail.com to request their deletion. Deleting your Encore account or its purchase records does not cancel subscriptions or erase the original store’s transaction history. Manage subscriptions through the store where you purchased them.

Transfers and security

Authentication, purchase verification, cloud backup and support providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Applicable provider agreements and lawful transfer safeguards must cover restricted international transfers. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data. We use platform authentication and storage protections, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction of processing or object to processing. You may withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing and complain to your local data protection authority. Contact our privacy email; we may need proportionate identity verification and will respond within applicable legal deadlines. Rights under US state laws apply where their eligibility conditions are met, including applicable appeal and non-discrimination rights.

Advertising, children and changes

This version does not include advertising, cross-app tracking or an analytics SDK. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Encore does not use browser Do Not Track signals because it does not perform that tracking. The service is not designed for children under 13; contact us if a child has supplied personal information. Additional age and consent requirements may apply in your country. Material privacy changes will be communicated in the app before taking effect where required.
