Using Encore

Lee Chi Ho operates Encore as an individual developer, providing tools to record shows, organize memories and create personal recaps. These terms apply to Encore on all supported platforms. Available features, sign-in methods and backup services may vary by platform and app version. Support: encoreapplicationsupport@gmail.com.

Accounts and eligibility

Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. Use only accounts you are authorized to access. You must meet the age and legal-capacity requirements applicable where you live; a parent or guardian must authorize use where required. Report suspected unauthorized access to support.

Paid features

The free tier lets you save up to eight shows. Encore Plus subscriptions enable unlimited shows while active; Lifetime is a one-time purchase for unlimited shows. Prices, billing periods and any introductory offers are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled through the store used to buy them. After cancellation, access normally continues until the end of the paid period. When a subscription expires, the Plus access it provides ends on all platforms. If no other valid subscription or Lifetime purchase provides access, your Encore account returns to the free tier. Your existing memories remain accessible; the free-tier limit then applies to adding shows.

Sharing Encore Plus

With a supported Encore account, your verified Plus subscription or Lifetime purchase can unlock Plus on other supported platforms while the purchase remains valid. Sign in to the same Encore account on each platform using a sign-in method available there. Each purchase can be linked to one Encore account. Sharing Plus does not automatically sync your shows, photos or backups. Billing, renewals, cancellations and refunds remain with the original store. Sharing Plus does not transfer the purchase between stores or automatically cancel any separate subscriptions.

App Store purchases can be bought, used and restored without signing in to Encore. Sign-in is required to link a purchase to an Encore account and use shared Plus on other platforms. For Google Play purchases, sign in to Encore before buying.

Your content

You retain your rights to the content you add. You authorize the processing needed to display, edit, back up and share that content as you request. Add or share only content you have the right to use, including images you paste from your clipboard, and respect other people’s privacy and intellectual property. Encore does not provide or host poster images. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, harassment or attempts to compromise security.

Check your records

Scanned text, image enhancement and generated recaps may contain errors. Review dates, prices and seat information before relying on them, and review photos and personal details before sharing a recap video. A saved ticket image or 3D model is a personal record and is not a guarantee of admission or a replacement for an organizer’s valid ticket. Currency changes relabel saved amounts without converting their value.

Widgets and countdowns

Where supported, widgets, countdowns and Live Activities display information from your saved records. Availability, countdown timing, refreshes and removal depend on your device, operating system, app version and settings. You may need to open Encore for a display to update. A display or alert may be delayed or unavailable. These features are not guaranteed reminders or official updates from an event organizer. Check the organizer's current schedule and admission requirements. You control whether to add widgets or enable supported countdown features, and should consider what personal content may be visible on those screens.

Backups and third-party services

Keep backups of memories you want to retain. Where supported, Encore offers optional Apple iCloud Drive or Google Drive backup, manual backup and restore, and backup-file export and import. Automatic backup depends on the selected service, account, storage, connection and device conditions. Cloud services keep separate backups; they do not continuously synchronize memories between platforms or devices. You can manually transfer a compatible backup file to another supported platform without an Encore sign-in. Sharing Plus does not transfer memories or backups. Apple, Google, Tencent CloudBase and services you select for sharing have separate terms. Deleting data may be irreversible; the confirmation screen explains the scope. Copies you exported or shared remain outside Encore's control.

Availability and your legal protections

Features may change or be interrupted for maintenance, security or reasons outside our reasonable control. We will provide notice of material changes where required. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or limits liability where doing so is unlawful, including liability for fraud or other non-excludable conduct. No clause requires you to waive applicable statutory remedies.

Ending use and resolving concerns

You may stop using Encore and delete your saved memories or Encore account through Settings. Deleting a shared Encore account removes that sign-in across platforms using the same account. The data removed with account deletion depends on the app version and backup service; review the confirmation screen and account deletion page for the scope and any separate cleanup steps. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription; manage or cancel it through the original store to avoid future charges. Contact support to raise a complaint or ask for deletion help. We will try to resolve concerns fairly. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver or an exclusive foreign court; applicable mandatory law and consumer forum rights remain available.
